BEACHES – A NEW MUSICAL
VIRTUAL OPEN CALL FOR THE UPCOMING BROADWAY PRODUCTION
SEEKING VIDEO SUBMISSIONS FOR THE ROLE OF LITTLE CEE CEE
Thank you for your interest in submitting a video audition.
Please read everything below carefully!
- We are currently accepting video submissions from US based kids ages 8-10ish
(NO TALLER THAN 4’4) for the role of LITTLE CEE CEE:An old-time comic in the body of a singing, dancing 9-year-old girl (think Bette Midler as a kid). Spectacularly talented, not just for her age, but for any age. Already a diva. Wild red hair, loves quirky, sparkly clothes, has a vocabulary of adult words, many of them outrageously inappropriate. As a result of all of that, she has probably never had a friend her own age. Strong powerful singer, mostly belt, a little mix. Must dance well, and tap is a plus.
The production dates are as follows:
- 1st Rehearsal: 2/16/26 (in NYC)
- 1st Preview: o/a 3/27/26
- Opening: 4/22/26
- End of Contract: TBD, but no earlier than 10/31/26, or later than 1/3/27

- Your tape must be submitted no later than Monday, January 5th at 6PM PST.
- While we are not able to respond to every submission, we will review all videos and be in touch via email or phone if we need to see you at an in-person callback. This would be scheduled in NYC on a date TBD in January. Tapes submitted for other roles thru this link will NOT be viewed.
- Please note that in order to be cast, you must be a New York local hire, or willing to become one.
- Both union (AEA) and non-union performers may submit a tape.

TAPING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Please start the tape by slating your name, age and birthdate, height (in feet and inches), and where you are currently based.
- Please prepare the cut of “Watchin’ A Star’ provided in the link here.
- Film your video using the track marked USE THIS FOR VIDEO. Materials may be downloaded HERE.
- Please send your video on one non-expiring link with the option to download (a Dropbox, Vimeo,
or Google Drive link is preferred. Please no WeTransfer). If using Vimeo, please make sure the
settings allow for a download. If using Google Drive, please make sure the video can be viewed
without requesting access. We will not request access to view your tape. - Please film your audition in front of a clean background, with no backlighting. As much as possible, limit ambient noise.
